Don't worry if you don't have everything — we'll guide you through the gaps, and we can source stock imagery at $30 an image where needed. For a refresh of an existing site, we can pull a lot of what we need straight from your current site.

We work best from your supplied copy — you're the expert on your business. As part of the build we'll guide the structure and headings for each page, shape what you provide into the layout, and flag any gaps. We don't write the core copy from scratch as standard, but if you'd like us to take it on, we're happy to quote that separately.

If writing isn't your thing, AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude are a great way to draft your own content — and if you already use AI in your business, it probably knows your business inside out, so it can help you get a solid first draft down quickly. We'll then refine and shape it to fit the site.

Once you're happy with the quote, a one-third deposit books your project into production. We then build the site as close to complete as possible, using your content, brand and any reference sites as a guide. You review a working site — on desktop, tablet and mobile — and we refine it together from there. Because you're reviewing a real, working site rather than a flat mock-up, we usually only need minor changes before going live. Squarespace is essentially a design and layout program, so what you review is what you get.

Yes — a one-third deposit books your project in and covers the initial design and build. The balance is invoiced on completion, before the site goes live. We use Xero for quotes and invoicing, so everything's clear and easy to approve online. For larger projects we can stage the payments across milestones.

Yes — a refresh is often the smartest, most cost-effective option if your content is largely fine but the site's looking tired, you've got new branding to roll out, or you just want a more contemporary, polished look. Rather than starting from scratch, we apply a new design layer over your existing content — updating the layout, typography, spacing and styling, adding or removing sections as needed, and bringing in new branding. We build the refresh on a copy of your site so your current one stays live the whole time, then switch across once you're happy. Refreshes start from around $1,280 plus GST depending on the size of the site and the extent of the changes.

Most projects take around 2–4 weeks from getting started, depending on the size of the site and how quickly content is provided. Typically it's about 1–2 weeks from deposit to your first site review, then a week or so to refine and go live. Simple single-page sites can be turned around in as little as a few days if your content is ready — handy if you're on a deadline. Larger or e-commerce sites may take a little longer.

Pricing depends on the scope. It's a bit like building a house — how many rooms, what features and finishes, and so on — all of which affect the time and budget required. Our sites start from $1,600 plus GST for a single long-scrolling page with around 10 sections, a contact form, social media integration, basic SEO and domain connection. From there, larger sites and add-ons like a shop, booking system or blog are priced on top. Yes. Your website runs on an active Squarespace subscription, which includes hosting, security, template access and core features, paid directly to Squarespace (around $336/year). As we're a Squarespace Circle Platinum Partner — the highest partner level — you'll receive an $84 discount (approx depending on exchange rate) on your first year's subscription.

None from us — there are no ongoing fees or lock-in contracts. Once the site's built and you're trained, it's yours to run. The only ongoing cost is your Squarespace subscription (paid directly to Squarespace, around $336/year), which covers hosting, security and support. If you'd ever like us to make changes or updates for you down the track, we can do that as needed on an hourly basis, but there's no obligation.
